KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya have been the stars for their respective sides in the ongoing edition of Indian Premier League. While the former has looked in good touch in opening position, the latter has been decimating the opponents in death overs. Hardik strike rate is over 250 in the final overs and it has played a major role in Mumbai Indians triumph.
It is to be noted that both of them were criticized extremely for their banter in the show “Koffee with Karan”. Even the BCCI took actions against them as they weren”t included in the ODI “s against Australia in January. However, Pandya was later brought into the side for New Zealand series where he proved his class yet again.
The BCCI has now asked KL and Hardik to pay an amount of 1 lakh each to the widows of constables in para-militiary forces who lost their lives in their duty. Additionally, the players will also be donating a sum of 10 lakh rupees to the Cricket Association of Blind in India. The players should pay the penalties within a period of four weeks failing which the amount will be deducted from their match fees.

Both the players are a part of 15-member squad of the Indian side for the World Cup. Given they maintain their current form till the World Cup no doubt that India can really get a major boost for a successful title hunt.
