BCCI reveals the amount of salary they have paid to Ravi Shastri for the first three months

The head coach of the Virat Kohli led Indian team; Ravi Shastri received a whopping amount of salary for the first three months of his tenure as the head coach as revealed by the Board of Cricket Control of India.

Shastri joined the Indian team as their head coach on July 18 and since then he has been paid Rs 1,20,87,187 till October 18 according to the BCCI website.

India team wicket-keeper-batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni received Rs 57 88,373 from the apex body as a share of gross revenue from the international tournaments held outside India whereas Cheteshwar Pujara received Rs 28,13,792 for the same.

Batting coach of the Indian team, Sanjay Bangar received an amount of 37,58,227 as a professional fee for the batting coach for the period of June, July, August, and September.

Other notable payments were made to the franchise based team of the Indian Premier League as the third installments for the share of Net Central Rights for this edition of the tournament.

There were a number of reimbursements were made to the state cricket associations for various domestic tournaments.

BCCI has reimbursed the match fee for the Ranji Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy amounting Rs 69, 35,141 and Rs 56,79,641 respectively to Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) which will be good news for the players who represent Delhi in the domestic tournaments.
