Sai Sudharsan has also presented a compelling case for inclusion. The young southpaw hit a magnificent century against Australia A and has been in phenomenal form across various formats. Recently, he smashed a double century in the Ranji Trophy and scored centuries in both the Duleep Trophy and for Surrey in the English County circuit.
Sudharsan’s ability to deliver big innings underlines his potential as a dependable top-order batter. While the India A team is set to depart Perth on November 17, reports suggest one of the two promising left-handers—Padikkal or Sudharsan—could remain with the team.
