Bhuvi, Bumrah combo return for final three ODIs against Windies

The BCCI has announced the squad for remaining 3 One day international matches to be played against West Indies. India’s star bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah make a comeback into the team after being rested for the first 2 One day Internationals.

Mohammad Shami has been dropped from the One-day international squad after expensive bowling performances in the two matches against West Indies played at Guwahati and Vizag. It is good news for the Indian team that the return of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah will strengthen the bowling attack.

In the first One day international, Mohammad Shami gave away 81 runs and took 2 wickets. In the second ODI, Mohammad Shami bowled well giving away 59 runs, taking only 1 wicket.

Umesh Yadav has returned his place in the squad with not so impressive bowling performances. Bumrah was rested after the Asia Cup and did not play the 2 test matches against West Indies. Without Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, India conceded 322 for 8 in the first One day international at Guwahati. In the second ODI at Vizag on 24th October, the Indian pace bowling struggled and the match was tied.
