Meanwhile, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has struggled with injuries in the recent past. He made a return during the series against South Africa which was called off amid COVID-19 outbreak. The veteran fast bowler is now eagerly waiting to embrace the national jersey and return to the field.
The fast bowler is currently in his home in Meerut owing to the lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic. The fast bowler revealed that this break has provided him with the opportunity to think about the future. Bhuvneshwar admitted that he wants to open an academy in his home town and give something back to the sport.
“I want to open an academy in Meerut because it has given me so much. I just want to give it back to the people over there. That is something I am going to do for sure,” Bhuvneshwar said in a webinar.
