Team India pacer Avesh Khan has made a roaring comeback after a couple of tough games against West Indies in the ongoing five-match T20I series. His bowling performance led India to a 59-run victory in the fourth T20I on Saturday, August 6 at the Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill, Florida. The Rohit Sharma-led team now has an unassailable lead of 3-1 in the series.
Avesh Khan faced a lot of criticism from the fans after he failed to defend 10 runs off the last over in the second T20I. The pacer also faltered in the third T20I, conceding 47 runs in three overs at an economy rate of 15.7. However, the Indian team backed Avesh Khan to make a comeback, and he repaid their faith. In the fourth T20I, the youngster took crucial wickets to break the back of the West Indies’ chase.
The Nicholas Pooran-led team needed 192 runs in the second innings to equal the series scoreline. However, they failed to counter Avesh Khan’s shrewd bowling. The Indian pacer dismissed Brandon King and Devon Thomas in the innings. He finished the match with bowling figures of 2/17 in his four overs. His performance earned him the Player of the Match award.

Avesh Khan mixing his pace and succeeding. This was something missing in this series for him. The slower ones are fetching him the wickets. #WIvIND
