Former Australia bowler Brad Hogg took a hilariously dig at leg spinner Adam Zampa for dropping his RCB skipper Virat Kohli in the 1st ODI between India and Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

The home side dominated the first as their captain Aaron Finch leading from the front notched up a ton opening the batting alongside David Warner who also scored a well versed 69. In at three for the Australian star Steve Smith who scored the 2nd fastest ton by an Australian in ODIs which came off just 61 deliveries.

The Indian side in the chase of 375 runs in 50 overs got off to a phenomenal start opening batters Shikhar Dhawan and Mayank Agarwal took on the charge on the Australian bowlers, they were cruising at over 10 runs per over when Mayank Agarwal lost his wicket hitting it straight into the hands of Glenn Maxwell.

Now walked the Indian skipper Virat Kohli at three who is one of the fine chasers of modern-day cricket. Though India were off to a fine start, Kohli seemed in a hurry of his own as he top-edged a short ball from Pat Cummins towards fine leg where Kohli’s RCB teammate Adam Zampa was placed.

What looked like a simple catch, Adam Zampa made an absolute mess of it as he ended up spilling Kohli’s catch early on in the innings. Watching Zampa spill an easy chance off his RCB Skipper, Brad Hogg decided to take a hilarious dig at him as he said,

“Zampa repaying  @imVkohli for an IPL contract. We all drop them,” Brad Hogg wrote on Twitter.

Followed by the drop there was intensified attack towards the Australian bowlers as he was seen playing a classic flick off Mitchell Starc which didn’t last very long as Kohli was soon dismissed by Josh Hazlewood for 21 runs.
