Brett Lee Impressed With Jasprit Bumrah’s Progress In The Last Few Years

Brett Lee

Team India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is currently one of the deadliest fast bowlers in the world cricket at present. He has a lot of variations in his arsenal and is a go-to bowler for India skipper Virat Kohli across the formats. Bumrah has impressed one and all including Australian great Brett Lee, who heaped praise on the youngster.

Currently the second-ranked ODI bowler; Bumrah first impressed during the Indian Premier League (IPL) playing for Mumbai Indians. Soon after, he was drafted in the limited-overs squad and since then, he has never looked back. So far, Jasprit Bumrah has taken 68 Test wickets, 104 in ODIs and 59 in T20Is.

Former Aussie star Brett Lee, who is known for giving nightmares to the batsmen with his fiery pace seemed mighty impressed with the Indian seamer. Lee believes if Bumrah can add more pace to his bowling if he can make his bowling action more effective.

“The current Indian pace attack is very, very good, led by Jasprit Bumrah. He is the guy who can also increase his pace. A few little things…you know he is working on with his action, with shooing with that arm pulling down harder and pulling out straighter.
