The eight Tests veteran, Dasgupta made a mark in his debut, knocking a century against Baroda in Ranji Trophy. His ability behind the stumps and with the bat made him a reliable member in the Bengal side. He soon was roped in the Indian side and made his debut in 2001 against South Africa.

“I’ve always been very passionate about coaching. Have got my coaching batches too but just that I didn’t have the time to physically be there to coach. At the same time, I keep getting a lot of people sending videos or asking questions through social media but didn’t have the technology to help them out properly,” Deep Dasgupta said to Cricfit.

“Now with some time in hand, gave a proper thought to the concept of online coaching along with a friend of mine and developed this coaching software, on the lines used by professional players, coaches and teams. I’m very excited about this because I think this is a game-changer,” he added.
