“Sorry Australia,” Candice Warner Cracks X-Rated Joke On David Warner’s Groin Injury

Australia, who have already sealed the ODI series with one match to go, will miss the service of David Warner for the remaining white-ball games. In the wake of it, Warner’s wife Candice cracked a light-hearted joking stating that she might have played a role in the injury.

Incidentally, Warner sustained a groin injury while fielding in the second ODI at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Warner limped off in the fourth over of the second innings having tumbled in the field to save a single from the bat of India opener Shikhar Dhawan.

Shedding some light on the injury, Candice Warner stated that she might have played some injury on the same. Incidentally, she and her husband David Warner share a very good bond and is often reflected on social media.

When the host Laurence Mooney stayed that she is under the scanner now since David Warner went down with a groin injury. She might have cost Australia a great cricketing event.

To which she replied, “Sorry Australia.”

Speaking further, Candice Warner revealed that her husband David Warner is keen to be fit for the first Test which gets underway from December 17. With still 17 days to go for the first game, the pocket-sized dynamo is expected to be fully fit.

“So, he’s got a groin strain, and now it’s just a lot of recovery, a lot of monitoring, and hopefully… I mean there’s 17 days before the first Test against India, so hopefully, he’ll be ready to go. But it is serious, and he is in a lot of pain. He will not want to miss that first Test,” she added.
