Kolkata Knight Riders batter Nitish Rana had a humorous reaction when commentator Harsha Bhogle asked for an update on his finger injury on Monday.

Harsha Bhogle interviewed the Kolkata Knight Riders star before their matchup against the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Nitish Rana missed 10 games in the upcoming IPL 2024 due to a finger ailment that kept him out of action for more than a month.

In the IPL 2024, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) made history by being the first team to finish in the top two and go to the playoffs in ten years. Due to persistent rain in Ahmedabad on Monday, May 13, their penultimate league stage match against the Gujarat Titans washed out, confirming their top-two ranking.

They will now play their final league stage match against the Rajasthan Royals, who are also vying for the final spot in the top two on the points table.

Nitish Rana’s viral response to Harsha Bhogle on his injury:

With a finger injury that kept him out of action for ten games, batter Nitish Rana of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) made a comeback to the lineup for the league leaders in 2024. When asked about the same, Rana came up with a hilarious response before the GT vs. KKR clash, which ended up being called off.

“Nitish Rana is with us. Generally, during interviews, one is expected to look towards the face, but I can only focus on your hand. Is everything fine?” asked Bhogle.

In reply, Nitish Rana came up with a hilarious response, saying, “Yes, sir, everything is well. I cannot show you the finger because it’s the middle finger, but haan pehle se abhi bahut better hai. I’m happy to be back on the team. Accha lag raha hai sir kyunki 10 match ke baad vaapas aaya hun. Mere liye tough tha because touchwood kabhi injury nahi hui aur kabhi itna baahar nahi baitha IPL mein.”

The last time KKR finished in the top two, they won the title twice: in 2012 and 2014.
