AB De Villiers scored a quickfire 24-ball 55 against Mumbai Indians in Dubai on Monday as Royal Challengers Bangalore finished on 201/3 after being put into bat by Rohit Sharma. De Villiers hit four fours an four sixes in his innings as he looked in full flow in his flawless innings.
Devdutt Padikkal (54) and Aaron Finch (52) also scored important fifties giving a good start to their team. All the Mumbai bowlers were put to the cleaners, as the wicket was a dream one to bat on. James Pattinson and Jasprit Bumrah conceded runs in excess of 10 runs per over.
Meanwhile, it was not a very good outing for RCB skipper Virat Kohli as he was dismissed for just three from 11 deliveries. Kohli has scores of 14, 11 and three in his first three innings of IPL 2020. Meanwhile, AB De Villiers took a special liking to Jasprit Bumrah hitting him all around the park.

Bumrah went for 42 off his four overs against RCB. Earlier in the RCB Innings Padikkal and Finch added 81 inn nine overs to set the perfect platform for AB De Villiers to launch in the backend of the innings. Finch, who was short of runs coming int this match played an unbelievable knock as well, after getting injured early on in his innings.
Shivan Dube then put the icing on the cake smashing 27 off just 10 balls as RCB put a challenging score on the board. MI in pursuit of 202 has already lost Rohit Sharma in the very second over of the Mumbai Indians chase. MI have won their previous game coming into this match, while RCB was blown away by KL Rahul’s brilliance in their last game.
