Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are looking to fly their players from Manchester to Dubai for the UAE leg of IPL 2021. The UAE leg kicks off wit CSK playing Mumbai Indians in Dubai on September 19. The fifth and final test match was cancelled following a mutual understanding between BCCI and the ECB after the Indian players expressed their concern over playing the test match after their physio tested positive.

Meanwhile, CSK CEO Kasi Vishwanathan has said to ANI that the franchise is willing to fly out their players directly from Manchester to Dubai. The players will need to undergo a six-day quarantine before playing the first game on September 19.

“Now that the Test match is off, we are looking to get the CSK boys into Dubai tomorrow,” he said.

The BCCI are also open to rescheduling the Test match when they travel back to the UK for a white-ball series. The BCCI Vice-President Rajiv Shukla has also confirmed that the Test match is cancelled and that the BCCI has not conceded the series.
