Cricfit Academy has joined hands with New Zealand-based digital platform CricHQ to promote women’s cricket across India in the ongoing Cricfit Premier League (CPL). The inaugural edition of CPL has started from January 14 and will run until January 29 at the Thakur Village Cricket Stadium in Kandivali East.

CricHQ is a digital platform for the sport that combines competition management and administration software with live scoring and statistics for cricket clubs. The company provides a range of digital services to cricket organisations that typically use paper-based administration and scoring.

Meanwhile, CricHQ will do the live scoring of all the women’s matches in CPL 2021. They will also ensure that the data and statistics of the women players participating in CPL 2021 are recorded so that they can be tracked for future uses. Both CricHQ and Cricfit are committed to provide exposure to women cricketers and ensure that they get the taste of high-level tournaments at a very early age.

Former New Zealand all-rounder and General Manager of CricHQ, Grant Elliot said it is a moment of privilege for them to be associated with Cricfit Premier League in promoting women’s cricket across the country.

“It’s been a privilege moment for CricHQ to have been associated with CricFit Premier League in promoting U19 Girls and under-age Cricket. With our application, we could provide data, statistics and analysis for grassroots cricket. Let’s grow the game of cricket and encourage youngsters with technology.

Cricfit has always been committed to developing women’s cricket in the country. As a result, they joined hands with letsallhelp.org to fund the registration fees of all the participating women’s teams. Besides, they will sponsor the apparel of all the women cricketers participating in the league along with providing them with foods and beverages for all those involved with the side.

All the matches will be telecasted live on YouTube and Facebook for viewers across the globe and the cricketers have already had a long-lasting impact with their outstanding performances.
