Ever since Suresh Raina left the Chennai Super Kings bio-bubble in the UAE prior to the start of IPL 2020, there have been speculations whether he will further ply his trade for the three-time champions. As the fans continue to ponder, a CSK official, who is in the know-how of the development has dropped a massive hint on his participation.
Incidentally, Raina pulled out of the competition owing to personal reasons. It came as a massive blow for the MS Dhoni-led franchise, who couldn’t regroup and endured their worst season in the history of the competition. This is the first time since 2008 Chennai didn’t manage to make it through to the playoffs.
Since then, there has been a lot of debate over Suresh Raina’s future in the IPL. As the cricketing world continue to look for a concrete answer, a top Chennai Super Kings official has confirmed that the southpaw is very much part of their set-up for IPL 2021 and there are no plans to part ways with him.
