The Australian team is currently busy with their preparations for the upcoming series against India. They know that India has a competitive squad this time. Meanwhile, Australian opener David Warner has shared his gameplan before the much-awaited series begins.

The left-hander believes that the Australian players will perform better if they do not get involved in any kind of engagement or banter with the Indian team led by Virat Kohli. Under Kohli, India had a few tip-offs against the Australian team in their last tour down under.

Talking to AFP, Warner that they are not looking to engage in any kind of on-field banter and reply back with their performance.

“The last time we toured in India they really engaged us like that,” We’re learning over time, especially myself, that if you look not to engage in that you’re almost reversing the effect by ignoring it, trying to take it in, and using your bat” David Warner was quoted as saying by news agency AFP.
