Watch – David Warner Reunites With His Family After A Long Wait Of 108 Days

After completing his quarantine period David Warner finally reunited with his family. Warner had been away from his family for a total of 108 days as he was back on the cricket field again. Due to the COVID-19, cricketers are now away from their family for a more extended time as they have to complete their mandatory quarantine period.

A lot has changed since cricket returned post the coronavirus pandemic and players are now confined to their hotel rooms before and after their tour. Warner first featured in the white ball series against England and then immediately travelled to UAE for IPL 2020.

Mentally for cricketers, the bio-bubble environment has been challenging as they are without their family members and remain in a limited restriction. While Warner had been missing his three daughters and his wife and often posted photos of them several times across social media platforms.

The official Twitter handle of Cricket Australia shared the video of Warner joining his family after 108 days. Warner received the warmest hugest from his adorable daughters and he had the biggest possible smile on his face.

“Aussie opener @DavidWarner31 is reunited with his family after finishing his hotel quarantine”, Cricket Australia wrote in the caption.

Meanwhile, David Warner too shared a lovable photo with his family on his official Instagram account and looked a satisfied man.

“After 108 days finally I am back with my girls. Isla still won’t sit still or smile in a group pic My happy place’”, He captioned the post.

Coming back to things on the field, David Warner was in his element against India in the first ODI at Sydney. Australia captain Aaron Finch won the toss and batted first on a batting-friendly 22 yards. Warner and Finch continued their prolific opening stand and registered yet another 150 runs stand against India.

Warner scored 69 from 76 delivers whereas Finch scored a well-deserved century. Australia is now eyeing a total of more than 350 runs in the first ODI against India.
