“Dear Elon Musk Paaji, Harshal Bhai Pe Copyright” – Yuzvendra Chahal Comments On Harshal Patel Copying His Pose

Yuzvendra Chahal had a humorous response to Harshal Patel mimicking his signature pose during the IPL 2024 match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) at Chepauk on Wednesday (May 1).

Harshal replicated Chahal’s pose in his celebration after catching Sameer Rizvi at third man during the 16th over of CSK’s innings. Harshal made a sliding catch to dismiss Rizvi off Kagiso Rabada. The fast bowler then improvised with an improved pose to mark the wicket.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Chahal shared the pose:

For those unaware, Harshal Patel is currently tied for the highest number of wickets in IPL 2024, having taken 14 wickets in 10 matches this season. Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal has recently returned to the Indian squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup, set to take place in June.

This follows his exclusion from the 2022 T20 World Cup and the 2023 ODI World Cup. The leg-spinner has secured 13 wickets in nine matches for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) this season.

CSK establishes a target of 163 runs for PBKS in the IPL 2024 match

A precise batting display by Ruturaj Gaikwad guided CSK to a total of 162/7 against PBKS in the IPL match on Wednesday. Leading by example, the skipper scored 62 runs off 48 balls, including two sixes and five boundaries. Rahul Chahar and Harpreet Brar stood out as the best bowlers for PBKS, claiming figures of 2/16 and 2/17, respectively. Kagiso Rabada and Arshdeep Singh each secured one wicket. Punjab aims to maintain their winning momentum following their historic victory against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), where they successfully chased down 262 runs, marking the highest total chased in the format in their recent match.

On the other hand, the Super Kings defeated the Sunrisers by 78 runs in their previous match, marking a return to winning form.
