Deepak Chahar’s Sister Drops Hilarious Meme With Emojis Following CSK vs MI IPL 2025 Showdown

Mumbai Indians’ (MI) latest acquisition, Deepak Chahar, faced off against his former team, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), in MI’s IPL 2025 season opener at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday, March 23. His all-round display in the match prompted his sister, Malti Chahar, to share a humorous meme on her Instagram story.

Chahar had been a part of CSK for seven years before parting ways with the franchise. Ahead of the IPL 2025 auction, CSK released him, and he was later signed by MI for ₹9.25 crore. Facing his former side, the 32-year-old played a crucial cameo, scoring an unbeaten 28 off 15 balls, along with claiming one wicket.

Malti humorously reacted to the situation by posting a ‘Bahubali’ meme, implying that Chahar had betrayed CSK.

Deepak Chahar played a crucial cameo, smashing two fours and two sixes to boost MI’s total to a competitive 155. With the ball, he made an early impact by dismissing CSK opener Rahul Tripathi in the second over of the chase.

However, Chennai successfully chased down the target in 19.1 overs, securing a four-wicket win in the highly anticipated ‘El Clasico’ of IPL. Left-arm spinner Noor Ahmad stole the show with his exceptional spell of 4-0-18-4, earning him the Player of the Match award.

MS Dhoni playfully taps Deepak Chahar with his bat after CSK’s win over MI

Deepak Chahar and MS Dhoni share a strong bond, with the former CSK captain playing a crucial role in Chahar’s growth as a bowler. Their friendship was evident during the IPL 2025 clash between CSK and MI.

As Dhoni walked out to bat, Chahar jokingly tried to sledge him. Unbothered by the banter, Dhoni later responded with a lighthearted gesture, playfully tapping Chahar with his bat after the match. You can watch the video here:
