IPL 2020: Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians Look Like Best Two Teams – Ajit Agarkar

Ajit Agarkar

We are already halfway into the Indian Premier League (IPL) and have seen a couple of teams performing consistently to be on the top of the points table. Among all, defending champions Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals have impressed the most, feels former India all-rounder Ajit Agarkar.

Meanwhile, Mumbai and Delhi are at the top of the points table with 10 points from seven matches each. Both teams have looked thorough in their approach and played fearless cricket. They deservedly sit on top followed by Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders in the fourth and fifth spot respectively.

Former cricketer Ajit Agarkar believes table-toppers Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians will go through to the playoffs. He also mentioned that Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians have emerged as the two best teams in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) so far.

Ajit Agarkar picks his top-four playoff sides

Adding further, Ajit Agarkar picked his four playoffs teams. Along with Delhi and Mumbai, Agarkar looked confident that Kolkata Knight Riders will progress through to the playoffs. However, he didn’t sound confident with Royal Challengers Bangalore, who are the other team in the top four.

Ajit Agarkar believes one between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals can be the fourth side in the playoffs. For Chennai Super Kings, who only have two wins from seven matches, things look a be bit grim for the three-time champions. However, MS Dhoni & Co have done it before and the fans will hope them to make a superb comeback.

“It’s such a close tournament, so many ups and downs, but clearly Mumbai Indians & Delhi Capitals look like the two best teams – form-wise and personnel-wise,” Agarkar said in Star Sports show ‘Cricket Connected. “KKR, in my opinion, got a real bonus win against CSK. They are my third team.

The fourth team for me is between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad. I had CSK at the start of the tournament, but at the moment, these two teams look slightly better than what CSK is playing,” he added.
