Rajasthan Royals and Delhi capitals face off each other for the second time in match 30 of IPL 2020 in Dubai on Wednesday, October 14 in Dubai. Delhi beat Rajasthan in the first encounter between the two teams earlier this season in Sharjah.
Delhi Capitals are in the top three in the points table at the moment with 10 points, while Rajasthan is down at six. Both teams come into this match with contrasting results in their previous match. While Rajasthan beat Sunrisers in a stiff chase, Delhi Capitals lost to Mumbai.
Rahul Tewatia yet again proved to be the hero for the Royals against Sunrisers Hyderabad. He helped his team to a come-back-from-behind-win to keep their hopes alive in the tournament. he got ample support from Riyan Parag, as the duo stitched an 85-run stand to help their side win. They will take a lot of confidence from this win into their next game.

With the league stage into its second phase now, each game from here on becomes a must-win for every team and more so for Rajasthan. They have lost four out of their first seven. With the return of Ben Stokes, the core of the Royals has been retained once again.
Steve, Smith, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler and Jofra Archer need to fire in unison now if the Rajasthan Royals are to threaten other teams. Smith and Sanju Samson have been short of runs after the first two games. While Buttler has blown hot and cold so far.
Parag and Tewatia will continue to be the x-factor in the side. The side now needs to play as a unit together as matches will only start getting tougher from here on. It’s also time that they identify their final XI who are most likely to help them win the title.
Delhi Capitals vs Rajasthan Royals Round 2
Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, lost their last game to Mumbai Indians in a top of the table clash. They would like to shrug off the defeat and focus o getting back to winning ways. They will miss the services of Rishabh pant for almost a week after he picked up an injury.
Meanwhile, Ajinkya Rahane needs to step up for the side. Overall, Delhi has found their ideal playing XI, however, the unfortunate injury to Pant has disturbed the equation. Heading into a must-win situation now, they would ideally hope to get a bit more from Marcus Stoinis, especially with the ball. Delhi Capitals, despite Pant, is still a power-packed side.

Head to Head
Out of the 21 games played between both teams, Delhi Capitals has won 10, while Rajasthan 11. In the previous encounter between both teams in this IPL, Delhi beat Rajasthan by 46 runs in Sharjah.
Pitch & Weather Conditions
Weather will be in the higher 30s in Dubai. This will be the second game in as many days at this venue. The pitch meanwhile, has shown signs of slowing down already in the last couple of games here. In the second half of the league stage, captains would ideally look to bat first and defend their target.
Chasing will become increasingly difficult in all three venues. With chases becoming decisive, the toss will play a crucial role in the outcome of the game.
Team News
Delhi Capitals have been plagued by injuries in the tournament so far. After Amit Mishra, Ishant Sharma was the latest to be ruled out of IPL 2020. However, Delhi did not use Ishant either with Harshal Patel doing a great job alongside the two quicks, Rabada and Nortje. No changes are expected from Delhi ahead of this contest.
There are no injury concerns in the Rajsthan camp meanwhile and they would look to field the same XI which beat Sunrisers.
