Today’s man of the moment is Devansh Ganatra. For the last three years, Devansh has been a part of CricFit. He has shone on a number of occasions for the team. But if I were to single out, I’d say his performance against the NNCA Heroes.
It was a 45 over game at Cross Maidan, Churchgate. NNCA won the toss and chose to bat. CricFit academy was stupendous with the ball. The bowled out the opposition for a mere 173 in 25.4 overs.
Star with the ball, Devansh Ganatra stole the limelight with his 6-fer. His 6/49 set the platform for the batsmen to capitalise.
In the second innings, CricFit were reeling at 65/2 when Devansh came in to bat. Holding up one end, he stitched important partnerships with fellow batsmen and finished the job for his team.
CricFit won the game convincingly with 6 wickets. Devansh Ganatra was again the star with the bat. 54(44) which included 5×4 and 3×6.
Post match he said his coaches have a role in shaping him today.
“Since I (Devansh) was a healthy child, it took me months to get fit and learn more.”
