He achieved the milestone during a commanding fifth-wicket partnership with Ravindra Jadeja in the first innings.
Jurel came in at No. 5 after Shubman Gill was dismissed in the 57th over. Tasked with a prominent role as a middle-order batter along with his wicket-keeping responsibilities, he rose to the occasion. The 24-year-old had already impressed on Day 1 with his exceptional agility behind the stumps against the moving ball.

Team India continued from where they ended on the opening day, finishing at 121-2, just 41 runs behind West Indiesโ first-innings total. The visitors quickly wiped out the deficit, while KL Rahul registered his first century on home soil since 2016.
At present, Dhruv Jurel is unbeaten on 113 runs off 200 balls as India sit strongly at 407-4 in the 120th over. The Men in Blue now hold a commanding lead of 245 runs heading into the next session.
