India and South Africa are facing each other in the fourth T20I in Rajkot. It is a must-win game for the Indian T20I team to be alive in this T20I series. Currently, South Africa has made a lead of 2-1 in the T20I series against the Indian team.
South Africa won the toss and decided to bowl first. The Indian team posted a total of 169 runs after batting first. Dinesh Karthik was the best batsman for the Indian team today. He stopped the collapse and in the end played a counter-attacking knock in the death overs.
When Karthik arrived to bat, the Indian team was struggling at 81 for 4 in 13 overs. Dinesh scored 55 runs in 27 balls against South Africa in the 4th T20I. He took on Keshav Maharaj despite it being an unfavourable matchup for him. Later, Karthik also attacked Anrich Nortje and Dwaine Pretorius in death overs.
Dinesh smashed nine fours and two sixes in his innings. This was the first T20I fifty of Karthik in his T20I career. It has been an amazing comeback from Dinesh Karthik in the Indian T20I team after an unbelievable IPL 2022 season. Fans appreciated Dinesh Karthik for his brilliant comeback.
Here are some of the reactions:

Dinesh Karthik was part of India's first ever T20i game. He was Man Of The Match in that game which was against South Africa, after that been in and out of the team. Today after 16 years he registers his maiden T20i fifty against the same opponent.

My opinion – first choice wicket keeper batsmen for India in all white ball formats until 2023 World Cup should only be @DineshKarthik I don’t see anyone closer to his class , consistency or match winning abilities right now.
