English cricketer Nick Compton has never thought twice before sharing his thoughts and views over social media. Recently, after India’s embarrassing loss to the Kiwi’s Nick Compton targeted Indian skipper Virat Kohli for not selecting Ashwin in the playing X1.
Team Indian’s performance in this ICC T20 World Cup 2021 so far has been extremely poor. Many cricket greats have criticized Virat Kohli and team India for their poor performance despite having everything. Toss is a huge turning point in the game, and unfortunately, Virat has lost both the tosses against Pakistan and against New Zealand, both at the Dubai International Stadium.
The team’s overall batting performance was below average as Ishan Kishan was sent up the order instead of vice-captain Rohit Sharma. Rohit was sent lower down the order, keeping in mind Treat Boult. As we know, Sharma has always struggled with Left Arm pacers.
In the first encounter against Pakistan, he got dismissed by Shaheen Afridi just in the first over, with the ball coming into the right-hander. Nick Compton tweeted after the match and said:
“I just don’t understand how Kohli’s prickly relationship with Ashwin is allowed to keep him out of Indian teams? Do you think Captains should be allowed such autonomy?”

I predict a huge win for India against Namibia – Nick Compton
Nick Compton did not back off to take a dig at Skipper Virat Kohli for his poor captaincy in this T20 World Cup 2021. This is the last T20 tournament where Virat will be the captain on the Indian team, as he himself has announced stepping down from T20 Captaincy after the World Cup. Nick Compton tweeted and said:
“For Kohli’s last game in charge I predict a resounding victory against Namibia on the 8th November… #ICCT20WorldCup”

After facing defeat against Kane Williamson’s New Zealand India will find it difficult to qualify for the semi-finals as a loss against New Zealand will leave them with 3 matches to win and hoping New Zealand loses one match out of their remaining three encounters as well.
