Ollie Robinson dismissed Jasprit Bumrah to bring an end to the Indian innings for 278. India gained a lead of 95 runs courtesy of their lower-order scoring some crucial runs in the first two sessions of the game. Bowling some good channels, Robinson was successful in getting his maiden Test fifer.
Ollie Robinson took four wickets on the third morning to go with the wicket of Rohit Sharma that he got on day 2 to end with five wickets in the first innings. He bowled a well-directed bouncer to Bumrah who tried to hook the call. The ball took the edge of the bat and went up high in the air only for Broad to complete a tough catch on the boundary.

India secure a crucial first-inning lead
India started the day on 125/4 and went onto add 153 runs in the first two sessions. KL Rahul scored 84 runs and Ravindra Jadeja scored a crucial 56. In the process, he went past 2000 Test runs and added 60 run with Rahul for the sixth wicket.

AS the Indian lead started looking threatening Robinson struck timely blows to limit the Indian team below 100. Bumrah’s final wicket meant that India had a lead of 95 runs.
Apart from Robinson’s fifer, James Anderson took the key wicket of KL Rahul for 84 in the 69th over of the Indian innings. He again struck to dismiss Shardul Thakur for a duck. Anderson took his wickets tally to 621 wickets and is the leading wicket-taker among pacers in international cricket.
It was a good approach from the Indian batters who played with intent. Their lower-order contribution came just at the right time for the team’s cause.
