Indian skipper Virat Kohli is known for his plain-spoken nature on and off the field. The right-hander never hesitates to express his thoughts. In the pre-match virtual press conference, Virat Kohli’s blunt one-word answer left the fans in splits.
A journalist wished Virat Kohli all the best for the upcoming five-match Test series against England. He further mentioned the Indian skipper’s brilliant record on India’s tour of England, 2018. Kohli was the leading run-getter in the 2018 test series. He scored 593 in five test matches, including two centuries and three half-centuries.
The journalist asked Kohli, “Kohli, you had a very good outing in the last England tour as a batsman. But the expectations rise whenever you tour somewhere. Everyone has their eyes fixed on you always. So, are you going to do something different for better performance in this series?”
The right-handed batsman gave a quirk one-word reply to the journalist. “Nahi,” said Kohli. A fan named Adish shared the video on Twitter and it soon went viral.

Dismal start for Virat Kohli on India’s tour of England, 2021
Virat Kohli had a disastrous outing in the first innings of the first test match against England. He was dismissed for a golden duck by James Anderson, who took two-in-two having dismissed Cheteshwar Pujara on the previous delivery. Anderson pitched the ball up outside off, which nipped away a bit and Virat Kohli tried to push the ball, only to edge it to the wicket-keeper Jos Buttler.
