Virat Kohli had got to find his way and become successful: Sourav Ganguly

Former India skipper Sourav Ganguly spoke about under-fire batter Virat Kohli’s rough patch before the second ODI against England. Virat Kohli has not been at his best in the last couple of years. His last international century came against Bangladesh in 2019.

However, Sourav Ganguly backed the veteran batter and expressed that Kohli has the ability and the quality. He also added that the right-handed batter needs to find his way and get back to form. Sourav Ganguly said as quoted by Telegraph,

“Of course, look at the numbers he has got in international cricket that doesn’t happen without ability and quality. Yes, he has had a tough time and he knows that. He has been a great player himself. He himself knows by his own standards it has not been good and I see him coming back and doing well. But he has got to find his way and become successful, which he has been for the last 12-13 years or more and only Virat Kohli can do that.”

Virat Kohli suffered a groin injury during the third T20I against England. He was unavailable for selection in the first ODI between the two teams. However, Kohli has made a comeback to the Indian team post-recovery. He replaced Shreyas Iyer in the XI for the second ODI against England.
