ENGvIND: Twitter goes wild after Virat Kohli”s Superman-esque innings

Indian skipper Virat Kohli has answered all his critics with his first ever test ton in the English conditions. The Indian stalwart registered his 22nd in the longest format of the game and kept India in the game even after a batting collapse.

Though  Dhawan, Vijay and Rahul fell in succession, the skipper seemed unfazed by the efforts put by English bowlers. He was even dropped on a few occasions and this really boosted the confidence levels to lead the innings from the front.

In the due course of his innings, Kohli also reached his 7K Internationals runs as the skipper in all the formats of the game. He now stands in the third place alongside Aussie trio Smith, Steve Waugh and Border for maximum centuries as a test captain (15).

Virat Kohli has now scored centuries in all the venues except Bangladesh and Pakistan (he hasn”t played a single game) India 274 all Out.
