MI wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan Apparently, I ran into Hardik Pandya on the tour of India. Kishan left to meet his MI captain at his home and took an emotional message, saying it on Instagram. Kishan, who was not part of the Indian T20 World Cup 2024 affair, embraced Pandya at his residence on Friday, July 5.
Kishan seems to have taken a break from his injuries. He started taking IG and posted a video of him hugging Hardik Pandya. The photo was captioned by Kishan with a warm message that he has come through the difficulties of hailing Pandya.
“You faced so many things these past few months yet you stayed calm and focused. And today bhaiya you got the result of your hard-work, honesty and sincerity” Ishan Kishan said.
“There’s so much more i feel and want to say but words will fall short. You are a champion and you are rare,” Ishan Kishan wrote on Instagram.
Hardik Pandya was booed in stadiums and faced flak on social media recently:
For all-rounder Hardik Pandya, the past four days have been like a dream come true. In his international career, he had never experienced anything like winning the World Cup for India and being greeted as a hero upon his return. But for him, the lead-up to the big event in the West, particularly the last six months, was just as dramatic.
He was forced to miss the entire ODI World Cup against Bangladesh due to an unusual ankle injury sustained during the match. Pandya returned to participate in the IPL 2024 following a complete recuperation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), but the Mumbai Indians’ new captaincy did not sit well with the supporters. Despite being jeered at stadiums and receiving backlash on social media, he never lost his smile.
With his outstanding performance in the recently concluded World Cup, Pandya turned heads and helped India win the trophy for the first time in 17 years. At the team’s Thursday night felicitation event at Wankhede, Mumbai fans, delighted by his contribution to India’s success, sang his name.
