Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag picks his India squad for World Cup 2019

Everyone’s eyes are in the world cup squad that is supposed to be announced on coming Monday. The BCCI has already said that IPL performances will not be taken into account for naming the 15-member squad for the mother of all tournaments. The entire Indian fanbase is waiting for the list as they need their team to perform in a whole new level at the world cup.

Meanwhile, former cricketer Virender Sehwag has tweeted his opinion regarding how the team should look for the World cup. Sehwag suggested for a few tweaks from 2015 squad and called for the inclusion of ‘Kul-Cha’ combo than Ashwin and Axar Patel.

Sehwag also expressed his desire to see KL Rahul and Kedar Jadhav ahead of Ajinkya Rahane and Suresh Raina.

However, the current skipper of Kolkata Knight Riders Dinesh Karthik couldn’t find a place in Sehwag’s fifteen. Instead, he preferred Rishabh  Pant over him as a backup wicketkeeper for the side. Sehwag also called for the inclusion of Vijay Shankar which am also come in handy with the ball in crucial moments of the game.

Sehwag hasn’t given any clue whether he would like to see a change in the opening combination or his willingness to see Rahul bat at number four.
Sehwag tweeted this squad sometime back in his official Twitter handle and fans are asking why he isn’t keen on Dinesh Karthik.
