Gautam Gambhir Attempts To Unlock A Door To Join A Live Show Before The BGT 2024-25 3rd Test

Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir shared a light moment with the Star Sports team during a live show ahead of the third BGT 2024-25 Test against Australia. The series is currently tied at 1-1, with each team having secured a dominant win in Perth and Adelaide.

After a heavy 10-wicket defeat in the pink-ball Test, Team India is putting in extra effort in the nets under Gambhir’s guidance, aiming for a strong comeback in Brisbane, where the third Test begins on Saturday, December 14.

Star Sports posted a video on Instagram showing Gambhir’s playful side. In the clip, Harbhajan Singh and a host were analyzing the Indian team when Gambhir walked by, engaging in some banter while attempting to open a locked door between them.

“I don’t expect any changes in the batting order”- Harbhajan Singh on India’s XI for the 3rd BGT 2024-25 Test vs Australia

On the Star Sports Show “Follow the Blues,” Harbhajan Singh shared his thoughts on India’s combination for the upcoming Brisbane Test. He believed the batting order would stay the same and supported KL Rahul to continue as an opener, given Rohit Sharma’s recent poor form. He said:

“I don’t think there will be any change in the batting order. I feel the batting order will be like this only. They will probably go with the same kind of batting order that worked for them in Perth.”

“Rohit is also not in great form. So why would you send him (Rohit) up the order when he is not in form? I feel you should start with KL Rahul and Yashasvi (Jaiswal) only, and Rohit should bat in the middle order.”

Regarding changes in the bowling department, Singh added:

“I feel Washington Sundar might come back and play in Brisbane. Although Ashwin didn’t bowl much and didn’t get much opportunity to do anything special, the way Washington Sundar’s first BGT match went, he picked up two wickets and is slightly better with the bat, I feel he will be played.”
