You need to give your 100% every time – Shahbaz Nadeem

The man of the match of today’s match between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad was Shahbaz Nadeem for picking up two crucial wickets early on in the innings. At the post-match presentation, Nadeem said that it was important for him to prove his calibre in the limited opportunities he gets in the season. He went on to reveal how he’s been working on the carrom bowl for the last couple of years and has been trying to effectively use them in this season of the IPL.

“I have been playing like this for the last couple of years. It is important that whenever you get your chances you need to give your 100% and that’s what came out today. I have been working on the carrom ball for a couple of years and I thought it was the right time to bowl it because they have a lots of left-handers in their side,” Shahbaz Nadeem said.

“Contributing to the team boosts you. Everyone has been contributing and my job is to fit in. This is a very small ground but the pitches are turning slower, so as a spinner if you pitch it in the right areas, it does work,” he added.
