Harbhajan Singh Joins Irfan Pathan in Taking A Dig At MS Dhoni

The MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings suffered their third consecutive loss in this IPL 2020 against the Sunrisers Hyderabad At the Dubai International cricket stadium last night. Batting first the David Warner led side posted a total of 164 at the end of 20 overs, all thanks to Priyam Garg’s splendid performance with the bat.

In reply, the Chennai Super Kings side could only manage 157 runs as Sunrisers Hyderabad won the match against the mighty Chennai Super Kings. In the match, we saw a lot of drama right from dropped catches to missed chances but what was more surprising was someone like MS Dhoni getting tired after running a double.

Many took this the other way around that since MS Dhoni is too old he’s been getting tired very easily these days. But at the post-match presentation, he clarified that since the weather was too dry he wasn’t able to breathe properly.

Harbhajan Singh Joins Irfan Pathan in Taking A Dig At MS Dhoni

A couple of cricketers, Virender Sehwag and Irfan Pathan in the meanwhile were seeing mocking the former India captain on social media. Irfan Pathan today earlier today took a dig at MS Dhoni by tweeting.

“Age is just a number for some and for others a reason to be dropped,” Irfan Pathan wrote.

Former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh quoting this particular tweet has now written, “10000000 percent agree with you @IrfanPathan”

Obviously, it does seem like both Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh are taking digs at MS Dhoni since both of them last played their international game for India under Dhoni. Which is why somewhere down the line they blame the CSK skipper for not being able to play more matches for India.

Both Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh were part of India’s victorious 2007 inaugural T20 World Cup campaign in South Africa. But post-2012, both were eventually dropped from all three sides and hardly made any appearances for team India after that period.
