Harbhajan Singh has been one of the frontline spinners to have represented Indian cricket in the international arena. The off-spinner was the part of the two World Cup-winning campaigns in 2007 and 2011. However, following the mega event in 2011, Harbhajan played any game and recently vouched to write a book to reveal the inside details.

The off-spinner from Punjab played a key role in the 50-overs World Cup claiming nine wickets at a paltry economy rate of 4.48. It was after 28 years, India scripted history under the leadership of MS Dhoni at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai beating Sri Lanka by six wickets.

Recently, Harbhajan Singh admitted that there was a lot of happening during the World Cup. He also expressed his desire to write all the details in a book and also uploaded a picture of playing eleven from the mega event. However, the out-of-favour spinner later deleted the tweet for unknown reasons.

“How ridiculous.. let the time comes will reveal who was playing what games to keep everyone away from each other’s.. lot was happening.. time for me to write a book I guess.. An HONEST book about what all happen and overall,” Harbhajan wrote in the tweet before deleting it.

Incidentally during the series against Australia in 2012, the then skipper MS Dhoni deployed a controversial rotation policy in the team. This saw senior cricketers like Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh lost their place in the playing XI. Dhoni, thereafter, received a lot of criticism from the experts. Even later, Gambhir blasted the former Indian skipper for the bizarre move.
