“Hardik Pandya Is So Lucky Today” – Amit Mishra On Indian All-Rounder’s Knock In Vishakhapatnam

India defeated South Africa by 48 runs in the third T20I in Vishakhapatnam. This was the first win of India in this T20I series after losing the first two T20I matches. Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya played impactful knocks to help the Indian team score a total of 179 runs while batting first.

Hardik scored 31 runs in 21 balls in the third T20I against South Africa in Visakhapatnam. It was a tricky pitch to bat. The Indian team also lost its momentum in the back-end of the innings. However , Hardik played with good maturity and took India to a good total.

This innings of Hardik comprised 4 fours. However it was a scratchy innings from Hardik. He was very lucky in his innings in 3rd T20I. Hardik was dropped on a score of one run by his Gujarat Titans team mate David Miller. Not only this, two  Aerial mistimed shots of Hardik Pandya landed safely between the two fielders.

Amit Mishra penned down a tweet to describe the extreme luck of Hardik Pandya. The veteran leg-spinner in his tweet wrote, “Hardik Pandya is so lucky today that he can fly a low on fuel plane, with a faulty engine, in a thunderstorm and yet can land it safely to the destination.”

Hardik Pandya has made an unbelievable comeback through Indian Premier League. Hardik said he wanted to focus on his process rather than thinking about external talks. He also revealed that he used to wake up at 5 am in the morning for training.

The 28-year-old all-rounder said, “A lot of things were said about me before I made a comeback. For me, it was never about giving them answers. I was proud of the process I followed, no one knows exactly what I went through during the six months off. I got up at 5 am in the morning to make sure I trained and trained at 4 for the second time in a day to make sure I gave myself enough rest.”
