It was alos known that the star Indian All-rounder failed the fitness test but the reality lied in that the star All-rounder wanted to take a little time off before he made a comeback.
Hardik withdrew his name from the India A tour to New Zealand and was replaced by star All-Rounder Vijay Shankar.
it was seen on Monday that Pandya returned to the ground and was seen practicing with the Indian team ahead of the 1st One Day International against Australia at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
It was seen Hardik bowling in the nets under the guidance of the Indian bowling coach Bharat Arun and was having a laugh session with his team mates . The Baroda born All Rounder will also look to make a comeback as soon as possible and would like to make an immediate impact on the game.
Hardik posted few photos on facebook and captioned it “Back training with the team ✌ Missed this amazing feeling 🇮🇳”
The BCCI spokesperson has already said that Hardik wants to take a little more rest and will be back very soon in action.
“To give you the real picture, he wasn’t satisfied after the high-intensity bowling workload test. There are few players who are tested based on workload. For example, a player who is coming back from a back injury, he is tested on the basis of his performance in a high-intensity bowling session.
“The player is tested after he spends more than two to three hours at the nets. Now, when the player bowls for that duration, the bowling is monitored. Rhythm, speed, accuracy and how the player is coping with his plans and delivering is what is basically tested. So, if the body can’t take what the player has in the mind, it is not responding to the workload. Pandya was of the opinion that he wants to work on his back further,”
“Yo-Yo and all he will clear in his sleep. He is looking at a South Africa series return and will continue to work on his back till then as he doesn’t wish to take any half measures.” the source explained as quoted by IANS.
