One of the best all-rounders in the Indian Cricket Hardik Pandya has faced tough times following his interview with a well-known show named ”Koffee With Karan” After the show, the flamboyant cricketer was banned for his sexist remarks on the show and also fined for his behaviour alongside KL Rahul.
With lockdown being enforced in the country, the cricketers have been entertaining the fans through Instagram live sessions. In the latest, Pandya brothers and Dinesh Karthik had a fun chat on Instagram, in which, Hardik Pandya was seen having Green Tea.
I stay away from Coffee – Hardik Pandya
When Karthik asked about his coffee, the all-rounder stated that Coffee has been proved too expensive for him. Thus, he shifted from coffee to Green Tea. He was referring to the show Koffee with Karan, where he landed in troubles after the completion of the show.
“I don’t drink coffee, I drink green tea instead and I drank coffee only once and proved to be too expensive for me. I can bet that Starbucks would not have such an expensive coffee. Since then I stay away from coffee,” he said in the live chat which also featured his brother and fellow all-rounder Krunal.
I am open to playing cricket behind closed doors:
Further, Hardik Pandya revealed that playing IPL 2020 behind the closed doors will be a smarter option. He feels that IPL being played behind closed doors would entertain fans in this lockdown time and also added that many Indian cricketers had played without crowds during Ranji matches.
“It will be different. We are used to playing in front of them as the feeling of competition comes with the crowd. I’ve played in the Ranji Trophy without crowds, and it feels different. To be honest, if that [IPL behind closed doors] happens, it will be a smarter option. At least people will be entertained at home,” he said.
Well, it would be interesting to see how things would pan out for the highly anticipated Indian Premier League. Hardik Pandya was all set to make a comeback during South Africa series but unfortunately, the first ODI was washed out and the remaining were postponed.
