Just hours after Cricket Australia and BCCI launched an investigation on a potential bio bubble breach in Melbourne where 5 Indian players in question were seen dining out in the general public, it has now being reported that Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya also breached protocol during the limited-overs leg of the Australian tour.

It all started when a fan tweeted about him paying the food bill of the five Indian cricketers after he spotted them dining at a restaurant. The fan, by the name of Navaldeep Singh, paid their $118 bill at Secret Kitchen Chinese restaurant at Chadstone Shopping Centre which he was seen flaunting on Twitter.

Hardik Pandya and Virat Kohli breached protocol in Sydney

Now as per a report in smh.com.au, it is being said that both Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya had breached COVID-19 protocols as they visited a baby shop in Sydney without a mask on. According to The Age, Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya should’ve been wearing masks when they walked outside and visited a baby shop on 7th December. The visit to the store was in breach of Bio-Bubble by them.

Though the incident didn’t catch the limelight then, it has now caught all the attention after five Indian players namely Rohit Sharma, Navdeep Saini, Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill and Prithvi Shaw were isolated from the rest of the Indian squad after a video of potential bio bubble breach was going rounds on Twitter.

Virat Kohli returned back to India after the first test at Adelaide as he’s expecting the birth of his first child with wife Anushka Sharma whereas Hardik Pandya became a father with wife Natasha Stankovic just before he departed to UAE for the IPL, the all-rounder returned back to India after the limited-overs leg as he missed out on the test squad due to him not bowling.

As none of the boards took no action back then as the incident wasn’t reported back then, it’s in all sorts of talks at the moment. Though the BCCI hasn’t spoken a single word on the matter, the five Indian players have been isolated from the rest of the squad for precautionary measures.
