T20 Cricket has taken a firm grip all across the world. 40 overs, fours and sixes, entertainment, the shortest format has brought a revolution in the sport. The fans also embraced it open-handedly. Indian Premier League, Caribbean Premier League, Big Bash League; a number have scaled all the heights and entertained to the fullest. Cricketers have also enjoyed their time playing all across the globe.
Meanwhile, for cricketers, winning trophies and performing for their team remains on the top. Only a handful of players get the privilege of winning trophies. The number gets less when we talk about winning two different leagues. Only a couple of cricketers are there who have won both IPL and CPL trophies.

1. JACQUES KALLIS (Trinidad and Tobago 2015, Kolkata Knight Riders 2012, 2014)
Jacques Kallis is regarded as one of the greatest all-rounders in the history of cricket and has been an inspiration for many aspiring cricketers throughout the years. In CPL 2015, Jacques Kallis played a vital role to help Trinidad and Tobago reach the finals and win the trophy thereafter. Jacques Kallis was also the highest run-scorer for his team with 304 runs and the most frugal bowler for Trinidad and Tobago with an economy of just 6.45.
Jacques Kallis contributed immensely in Kolkata Knight Riders 2012 Triumph with 409 runs and 16 wickets. However, in the 2014 edition, Jacques Kallis bat didn’t live up to the expectations that the legend has set for himself.
2. SHAKIB AL HASAN (Jamaica Tallawahs 2016, Kolkata Knight Riders 2012, 2014)
The veteran Bangladesh all-rounder, Shakib Al Hasan, who is considered as Bangladesh’s pride and the greatest cricketer to have ever played the game for Bangladesh was a part of Jamaica Tallawahs Team who lifted the CPL trophy in 2016. However, Shakib could only register 160 runs in his 13 games and took 12 wickets in the series.
In 2012, Shakib contributed to his IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders win by taking 12 wickets in 8 games with an economy of 6.50. In 2014, the all-rounder from Bangladesh took 11 wickets and registered 227 runs for KKR who went on the win their 2nd IPL title.
3. KIERON POLLARD (Barbados 2014, Mumbai Indians 2013, 2015, 2017,2019)
Kieron Pollard took his Team Barbados Tridents to the finals of CPL 2014 as a brilliant skipper. Barbados Tridents played against Guyana Amazon Warriors and managed to lift the cup by beating Guyana Amazon Warriors by 8 runs. Kieron Pollard scored 200 runs individually and took 6 wickets in the series.
Pollard was also an integral part of his IPL franchise Mumbai Indians and contributed 420 runs and 10 wickets in their 18 games in the IPL 2013 edition which helped MI to win their maiden IPL title.
In 2015, the stalwart again amassed 419 runs in 16 games for the triumphant Mumbai Indians. In 2017, Pollard’s bat again helped Mumbai Indians to win their 3rd IPL title. He also played a key role in the last season.
4. DWAYNE SMITH ( Barbados Tridents 2014, Mumbai Indians 2013)
Dwayne Smith was a part of Barbados Trident in 2014 that went on to win their maiden CPL title. Smith registered 353 runs in 10 games with an average of 44.12. Dwayne Smith’s performance included 2 tons; 110* and 104* against St Lucia Zouks and Guyana Amazon Warriors.
In 2013, Dwayne was a part of Mumbai Indians as his IPL franchise which in turn won their maiden IPL title as well. Dwayne Smith amassed 418 runs in the series at an average of 32.15 which included 4 half-centuries.
5. DWAYNE BRAVO ( Trinidad and Tobago 2015, Chennai Super Kings 2011,2018)
Dwayne Bravo has been an integral part of his both CPL as well as IPL teams and has contributed with the bat as well as took important wickets at crucial stages of the game. In 2015, Dwayne Bravo was a part of the victorious Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel Team. Bravo scored 291 runs with an average of 32.33 and took 28 wickets being the highest wicket-taker of the tournament.
In 2011, Bravo could play only 6 games for the IPL 2011 winning team Chennai Super Kings and took as many wickets as he can with an economy of 7.85.
