Here Are 5 different hairstyles of MS Dhoni through the years

The former Indian captain MS Dhoni is still a part of the Indian ODI squad. He made his test debut in 2005 and retired in 2014. Since making his ODI debut in 2004, he has the experience of playing 318 ODI matches.

He is also a part of the Indian Premier League carnival. Under his captaincy, Chennai Super Kings have won two titles. For India, MS Dhoni has won 2007 World T20, World Cup 2011 and Champions Trophy 2013.

MS Dhoni has done various hairstyles that have suited his personality and looked smart in those looks. With the World Cup 2019 coming up, Dhoni would be looking to contribute to the team, bring 3rd World Cup for their country. After 2 year ban, Dhoni is still the captain of CSK franchise.

1. Long hair

When MS Dhoni made his international debut for India, he was an attacking batsman and smashed the bowlers all over the park. In 2006 tour of Pakistan, MS Dhoni had a long hair, Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf asked him not to have a haircut.

He was looking smart in this style and was loved every cricketing fan. This was the first hairstyle of many in the following years.

2. Bald head after winning the World Cup 2011

Under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, the Indian Cricket team won their 2nd World Cup title by beating Sri Lanka at Wankedhe Stadium, Mumbai on 2nd April 2011. It was a historic night for Indian Cricket as they won a World after 28 years.

After the tournament finished, MS Dhoni had a bald head holding the World Cup. It is a hairstyle that every Indian Cricket fan would remember to see India winning a major tournament at their home ground and also for Sachin Tendulkar who played his last World Cup.

3. Mohawk Style during the 2013 edition of IPL

MS Dhoni captained Chennai Super Kings right from the start of IPL. In the 2013 edition of IPL, MS Dhoni donned the Mohawk hairstyle and also the Champions League T20 tournament. The style looked impressive on him and was loved by the fans at his hometown Ranchi.

When he took his helmet off, everyone was surprised with Mohawk haircut but looked handsome. Chennai Super Kings lost to Mumbai Indians in the finals of IPL 2013.

4. Spiky haircut

MS Dhoni had a Spiky haircut after winning the Champions Trophy 2013. Under his captaincy, the Indian team won the Champions Trophy by beating England in finals after the match was reduced to 20 overs each due to rain.

After winning the tournament, MS Dhoni had the trophy in his hand and looked smart in this spiky haircut.

5. Side swept hairstyle

During the 2016 World T20 held in India, at that time MS Dhoni was the captain and had chosen to have side swept hairstyle. Under his captaincy, the Indian Cricket was expected to win the trophy but lost in the semi-finals to West Indies.

MS Dhoni had selected this hairstyle during the tournament. In this look also, he looked impressive and loved by everyone.
