Here’s a fantasy 15 Members Squad which can beat any IPL team

The IPL auctions for the 11th season took place on January 27-28. A total of 578 players went under the hammer in this year”s IPL Auction, major retentions took place, a lot of overseas and Indian players were bought for lump sum amount but many of them went unsold.

Here is a list of these players with their roles in various departments:

Top 3:

Openers: Alex Hales, Martin Guptill, Hashim Amla, Dwayne Smith, Unmukt Chand(uncapped)

Number 3: Joe Root, Cheteshwar Pujara

The above list of players can create a lot of damage against any opposition especially as openers and can make the best of the powerplay overs while the No. 3 players can provide stability if any wicket falls early. The No.3 players can play at a strike rate of 100 while others can easily go beyond 130-140+.

Middle order:

Eoin Morgan, Shaun Marsh, Ross Taylor, Manpreet Juneja(uncapped), Jaydev Shah(uncapped), Abhinav Mukund*

The middle order does not have any impact Indian player but are the most consistent batsmen and can easily play knocks of at least 30-40 runs or can go on to score 50-70 if they bat till the end.

All-Rounders:

Travis Head, Angelo Mathews, Moises Henriques, Irfan Pathan

The all-rounder”s list also features overseas players who have got the potential of playing in the middle-order and will contribute with both the bat and ball. Surprisingly, Travis Head is doing well in the Big Bash League but went unsold.

Samuel Badree, Ish Sodhi, Keshav Maharaj, Pragyan Ojha, Pravin Tambe

Spinners grabbed a lot of attention in this year”s IPL and are key to shift the momentum on their side in the slog overs. On a given day the above players can break the backbone of even the strongest team in any league in the world especially with the likes of Ish Sodhi and Keshav Maharaj.

Wicket-Keepers:

Jonny Bairstow, Naman Ojha, Eklavya Dwivedi(uncapped), Niroshan Dickwella

We have two Indian wicket-keepers in the playing XI apart from the foreign players. Naman Ojha is a mature player when it comes to the experience of playing in IPL and the domestic circuits while Eklavya Dwivedi has also got a fair bit of IPL experience.

Fast Bowlers:

Mitchell McClenaghan, Ishant Sharma, Lasith Malinga, Dale Steyn, Steven Finn, Wayne Parnell, Suranga Lakmal, Ashoke Dinda, Varun Aaron, Rajneesh Gurbani(uncapped)

The above bowling line-up is one of the best line-ups that could have featured in the IPL. They are not just striking bowlers but also bowls very well in the death overs.

NOTE: Only 4 overseas players can play in the playing XI.
