Team India has a packed calendar of foreign conditions this year and the experts say that the year will prove if the team can perform in away series or not after their dominant home season the previous year.
Currently, they are ongoing their tour to South Africa. After the test match series, they will also play the limited overs 6 ODI games and three T20s. The limited overs series will begin from February 1 and it ends on February 24.

2018 Nidahas Trophy
Nidahas Trophy will then begin on March 8 and will be played till March 20 ahead of the IPL. It will be tri-nation series between India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka in T20 format. All matches will take place in Sri Lanka.
IPL 2018
The Uni-Decima season of one of the richest cricket leagues in the world, Indian Premier League will kick off on April 5 and will be played until May 21. Around 60 matches will take place in the tournament that will feature 8 teams with Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals back in the hunt after their 2 years of suspension.
England & Ireland Tour
Team India will then head towards Ireland where they will play two T20 matches on June 27 & 29 before they start their tour of England. India will play 3 T20s and the equal number of ODIs. They will also play a five-match test series starting from August 1, the test series will conclude on September 11.
Asia Cup
The 14th edition of Asia Cup will start on September 15 and the final will be played on September 30. Neighbour nations will also participate in the tournament that includes Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan apart from India in the tournament that will be hosted by India.
Australia Tour
The last series of the 2018 calendar year for team India will be their tour to Australia where they will play 4 Tests. However, the dates are yet to be announced for that series.
