The 12th edition of the Indian Premier League is back and the promotions are already on a high level. All the eight teams are looking forward to creating an impression and a cracker of a season is on the cards for the ever-enthusiastic cricket fans. It is all set to kick off this Saturday (23rd of March) at Chennai.

Meanwhile, the complete group stage schedule for the league was released by the BCCI yesterday. It is to be noted that only a partial list of matches were announced earlier taking into account the general elections. However, the board is yet to finalize the playoffs fixtures.

This will be the first time that the T20 cricketing season will take place in India despite general elections. It is to be noted that in 2009 and 2014, the venues were shifted to Southafrica and UAE respectively.

The tournaments on the overseas venues were well received by the fans all over the world and no wonder why it is still the most anticipated T20 league in the cricketing universe. There will also be no changes in the home and away fixtures which has been the conventional way of the league since a decade.
