Rohit Sharma was shocked as well as amused after he was referred to like Virat Kohli in the press conference ahead of the second ODI against England. In a virtual interaction with the media, it was Rohit and not captain Kohli who answered questions in the press conference. The interaction was going smoothly when suddenly someone made a blunder and attributed Rohit as Virat Kohli.

Hilarious Reaction Of Rohit Sharma After He Was Referred To As Virat Kohli

Rohit Sharma understandably had a surprised look on his face and after a few seconds had a smile on his face. One of the journalists said, ‘Hi Virat’ which entertained the vice-captain of the Indian ODI team. Rohit Sharma quickly lifted his cap and pointed towards his face and made everyone aware that they are talking to him and not the Indian captain. The hilarious video went viral on Twitter ahead of the second ODI which had all the fans laughing out loud.

Talking about the second ODI between India and England, the stand-in skipper of the visitors Jos Buttler won the toss and elected to bowl first. Virat Kohli lost his 4th toss in a row as India are again batting first and will be aiming to put a mammoth score on the board. It hasn’t been a great start from India as they have already lost an in-form Shikhar Dhawan early in the match.

Now, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are batting together at the crease and the score currently stands at 18 for 1 after 6 overs. The pitch at Pune looks a belter to bat on and both Kohli and Rohit will be looking to bat big and put a formidable total on the board for England to chase.
