Suryakumar has shown his consistency in the IPL as well. 512 runs in 2018, 424 runs in 2019 and 410 runs in 14 matches so far this season, he has been ha batting mainstay for Mumbai Indians in the last three years. In a season, where Rohit Sharma has not looked at his best, Yadav has taken the responsibility beautifully at number three.

Meanwhile, apart from Yadav, a few other youngsters have been able to impress the Prince of Kolkata. KKR’s Shubman Gill, Rahul Tripathi and Varun Chakravarty were among the. While Varun has earned his maiden call up in the Indian T20I side, Gill has been added to the ODI and Test squads.

Rajasthan’s Sanju Samson and RCB’s Devdutt Padikkal has also left an impression on the BCCI boss. Both have been the top-scores for their respective teams in the IPL. While Samson cannot add to his tally further, Padikkal can.

While Samson has been playing the IPL for some time now, Padikkal was one of the finds of the season. In a batting line-up that has Virat Kohli, AB De Villiers and Aaron Finch, Padikkal emerging as the top-scorer for the side is quite a task. He is currently the highest run-scorer for RCB with 472 runs in 14 matches.
