Jasprit Bumrah created a buzz on the internet with his recent Instagram post, suggesting his imminent return to the Indian team.

The video featured snapshots of Bumrah practicing in the nets, accompanied by the song “I’m Coming Home” by Diddy-Dirty Money playing in the background.
Fans thrilled as Jasprit Bumrah hints at Indian team comeback through emotional video
This update brought renewed hope to fans, confirming recent reports that hinted at Bumrah’s inclusion in the upcoming tour of Ireland.
Bumrah has been absent from the Indian team since his last appearance against Australia in September of the previous year.
Earlier reports indicated his potential availability for the Asia Cup 2023, but his remarkable progress has expedited his recovery, with the team management reportedly expecting his inclusion in the Ireland tour next month.
Bumrah shared the video on Instagram and tagged the official account of the Indian cricket team.
A previous report stated that Bumrah had begun bowling at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) and would soon participate in a few practice matches.
Fans expressed their excitement after Bumrah hinted at his India comeback through his emotional video, with many eagerly awaiting his return to the team.
Bumrah’s absence due to a stress fracture in his lower back was keenly felt by India’s bowling attack during the T20 World Cup and the World Test Championship final.
India’s bowling coach, Paras Mhambrey, acknowledged the significance of managing the workload of fast bowlers and highlighted how the team has greatly missed Bumrah’s services over the past year.
Mhambrey suggested rotating the fast bowlers to provide opportunities for other players and strengthen the team’s bowling depth.
Following India’s victory in the first Test against West Indies in Dominica, Mhambrey expressed, “Bumrah is one player we missed a lot in the last 1-1.5 years.”
While there haven’t been discussions yet about specific roles in white ball and red ball cricket, the team plans to give breaks to individual bowlers to build bench strength.
According to reports, Bumrah is expected to make his international comeback during the three T20Is against Ireland in August.
