“I Am So Incredibly Proud To Call You Mine” – Ritika Sajdeh’s Heartfelt Message For Rohit Sharma

After the Men in Blue triumph the 2024 T20 World Cup, India captain Rohit Sharma acquired a heartwarming message from his wife Ritika Sajdeh who conveyed large delight in her husband’s fulfilment and favoured his dedication for the success of the team.

He highlighted Sharma’s commitment to the T20 format, his teammates and his quest for a World Cup medal. Ritika shared that it was emotional and inspiring to see Rohit’s tireless efforts for the team to win the ICC title.

Taking to her official Instagram account on Monday, July 1, Ritika wrote:

“Ro, I know what it means to you. This format, this cup, these guys, this tour and this whole process of getting what you’ve always dreamed of. I know how hard these past few months have been for you. Me.” .” know.” A toll that took your heart, mind and body but it was incredibly emotional and inspiring to see how you achieved your dream.”

Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from T20 after India won by seven against South Africa in the final of the 2024 T20 World Cup in Barbados on Saturday, June 29. Farewell to the format.

Expressing her feelings on Sharma’s T20I retirement, Ritika said:

“As your wife, I am immensely proud of what you’ve achieved and the impact you’ve had on this game and the people who love it; but as someone who loves your game I’m sad to see you leave any part of it behind.”

“I know you’ve thought long and hard about what’s best for this team but that doesn’t make watching you leave that part of it behind any easier. I love you so much and I am so incredibly proud to call you mine!”

Notably, along with Rohit Sharma, senior players Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja announced their retirement from T20 after winning the 2024 T20 World Cup

Rohit Sharma release tears of joy and turned and was clearly touched when Team India gained the 2024 T20 World Cup. He shared a picture of himself on the field, displaying his emotions about the team’s success .

The 37-year-old stated:

“This picture shows how I feel right now. So many words but I can’t find the right ones to express what yesterday meant to me but I will, and I will share, but right now I’m going to dream and let it sink in for millions of us.”

India made history by becoming the first team in men’s T20 World Cup without a single defeat. They were 176/7 in 20 overs, led by Virat Kohli’s 76, with key contributions from Akshar Patel (47) and Shiv Madube (27).

South Africa posed a huge challenge to Rohit Sharma’s team in their chase. But they were unsuccessful, finishing on 169/8 in 20 overs. Hardik Pandya bagged three wickets, while Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh took two wickets each.
