Ishan Kishan’s Dream Start with SunRisers Hyderabad
Ishan Kishan expressed his feelings about his innings, noting that it had been a long time since he had played such an innings and that the time had allowed him to prepare and improve his game. He also accepted the expectations that had been set up on him.
“I enjoyed every moment. How do i tell you about the feeling, you know, like sometimes you cannot get into words how you are feeling in the middle? i played after a long time, you know; you get a gap in the middle; you prepare throughout. there were many expectations from teammates and from the fans, who are applauding me so much, so it feels good right now.” Ishan Kishan said after the game.
Ishan Kishan left everyone gasping for breath with his sensational batting show as the sidelined Indian cricket team batter slammed a century off just 45 balls that made Sunrisers Hyderabad proud during the IPL 2025 clash against Rajasthan Royals on Sunday. For the wicket-keeper batter, it was a special knock, for he belted 11 fours and 6 sixes to add an unbeaten 106 runs off 47 balls to the team’s tally.
It was Kishan’s first outing with the franchise under which he was acquired for Rs 11.25 crore during the mega bidding event and the knock served as a wonderful reminder to BCCI as the national contracts are likely to be announced after the tournament. Kishan was not included in the national contracts list in 2024 for not being present for domestic cricket but his performance with SRH was phenomenal.
