Indian Premier League is the toughest T20 cricket league in the world. Several big superstar cricketers across the world face each other in the Indian Premier league and create their impact. The Quality of the IPL matches are on the same level as International cricket.

Several cricketers aspire to play in IPL and create name and fame. Recently, South African white ball captain Temba Bavuma too expressed his desire to participate in the Indian Premier League. He also expressed his desire to captain an IPL franchise.

In an interview with Espncricinfo, Bavuma said: “I would like to play there. The stronger my performances, the more realistic the opportunity becomes. I’ve also developed this fantasy of captaining a team. I don’t know where that comes from. I’d like to get that experience as well. But I kinda need to get into a team before that happens!”

Temba Bavuma was highly impressed with the performance of South African players in the IPL. Bavuma appreciated Rabada for being quickest to 100 wickets in IPL. Bavuma said: “I haven’t been fully invested. It’s been a long. It’s nice to see some of our guys doing well. KG (Rabada) en route to being the quickest to 100 wickets. Quicker than (Lasith) Malinga. That’s something to be proud of.”

Temba Bavuma was also in awe of the way South African youngsters performed for their IPL franchises. Bavuma applauded Marco Jansen and Aiden Markram for creating their impact in the IPL. The South African captain also called Dewald Brevis and Triston Stubbs as exciting prospects.

“And Marco Jansen – how he has gone and performed. Or Aiden [Markram]. And even the younger guys who have showed their ability. There is a lot of talk about Dewald Brevis. He is an exciting prospect for our cricket. And Tristan Stubbs, getting a go. It’s been nice to see those guys.”, said Bavuma.
